  This is a church with an egotystical pastor which ultimately puts himself before god. If you don't care about the true reasons for going to church and don't care about what they do with your money then go here. But beware they like to kick out members that don't tithe as much as they believe you should.... My personal reccomendation is go visit Rowland road or one of the many great neighboring churches that are flourishing. Unless yo like to go to church where you can count all attending members on one hand.... God bless and good luck

  Our family joined Bayou Baptist a little over a year ago. It has been such a blessing to see God work, not only in the church, but also in our family. We are excited to see God continue to grow this church, and reach the community. This church has some of the sweetest members and a pastor with a vision and heart for his congregation. I love that my youngest child is learning the traditional hymns and and is wanting to be a part of this church family. If you are searching for a place to serve God and feel God's presence, I would love for you to come visit with us.

  Met the pastor and his wife on Friday. You could not ask for any one to be more friendly and cordial in welcoming to Bayou Baptist Church. I can hardly wait to attend Sunday services!
