  I will no longer be supporting the Salvation Army in Ouachita Parish. I have notified the 800# to remove me from their mailing list of supporters. I was very taken back to learn that the West Monroe, La store had suddenly permanently closed. There were many people that depended on this store and it always had customers when I would pass going to town. Why would Capt. August Pillsbury close a profitable store that was helping so many people in need. I was told he wanted to open a second store in Monroe. I assure you many customers from West Monroe are not able or willing to go to Monroe to shop. The West Monroe store has served many for decades. My donations will be routed elsewhere. Thank you for the opportunity to express my disdain.
